Abstract
Uganda Government's declared wildlife conservation policy is that wildlife will be preserved partly for its value as a unique national heritage and partly because it is a natural resource of real economic value. Its policy also stresses .that wildlife will be managed for the benefit of present and future generations of Ugandans. This policy, therefore, implicitly implies preservative in of both wildlife and its habitats.
