Abstract
The effect of two forms of phosphorus (MCP and DCP) and varying inverse proportions of two on grain yield and plant characters of wheat cultured under field and greenhouse conditions was determined. MCP was superior to DCP in most parameters studied. But there were no significant differences when a mixture of two forms was applied. However, DCP tended to encourage the accumulation of nitrogenous products possibly protein in the vegetative parts of wheat
