Abstract
Raise the participants' awareness on their perceptions of roles of men and women and the implication to their research activities and methodologies. To enhance the participants' understanding of the concept of gender as a way to further differentiate research and extension clients categories in order to target their needs more effectively. Introduce the participants to a conceptual framework that takes gender into account in the various phases of the Farming Systems Approach to Research, Extension and Training (FSA-RET). To develop participants' knowledge and skills in using methods and tools for gender analysis. To formulate strategies that make participants' work more gender responsive
