Abstract
Ve welcome: Mr. R. N orton and Mr. R. S. Wollen back to Kenya after their recent visit to England,where they negotiated with the Ministry of Food on behalf of the East African Coffee Industry.We are informed that as far as Kenya coffee is concerned the result of their negotiations is as follows:-The price of coffee from the 1944/45 crop will be increased by £11.10.0 P,"i' ton on last year's crop, subject to final confirmation when figures relating to costs of production put forward by Mr. Wollen to the Ministry of Food have been substantiated by actual estate accounts.Accounts are about to be asked for by the Supply Board (Coffee Control). All accounts will be treated as strictly confidential.
