Abstract
The concept of seed quality encompasses such seed characteristics as true to type, health, viability, longevity and capacity to germinate into robust seedlings. For farmers, both subsistence and commercial, high quality seed that leads to high germination percentage and uniform crop stand is desirable because it increases efficiency in the use of resources in the crop production process.
