Abstract
The oil known as geranium oil, is not derived from a member of the genus Geranium at all, but from a species of Pelargonium, the horticultural "geranium". There is one oil, Zdravetz, produced from a true Geranium. Sometimes, too, palma rosa oil derived from the grass Cymbopogon Martini var. motia, is known as Turkish geranium oil.
