Abstract
The infrared absorption in the hydroxyl-stretching region of benzyl alcohol, and its 2,- and ,E-chloro- and E.- and ,E-nitroderivatives,in tetrachloroethylene solutions dilute enough to make intermolecular hydrogen bonding insignificant, has been examined under conditions of high resolution.
