Abstract
From flower initiation to bean maturity, it takes six months during which time the farmer looks after the coffee in terms of weed control,nutrition,protection as well as handling of the plant.If and when these practises arc well done at the right time,the resultant berries are big and heavy (thus fall into the premium grade6 AA, AB, PB and E as well as good classes (Le. 1 - 3) thus high returns to the farmer.Although it takes a relatively shorter period (two months) to process coffee at the factory,what happens at every stage is very crucial 110 the resultant quality.
