Abstract
Preliminary work on Euclea sp.* in the Method Mara River District of Kenya (E. Afr. agrie. fOT. J. 30. 2, 89, Oct. 1964) showed that the cegeneration of Euclea divinorum Hiern* could be controlled with esters of 2,4-0 (2,4- dichloro-phenoxyacetic acid). However, applications needed to be carefully timed, and probably more than one would be necessary. The work presently described concentrated on timing and repeated applications. Aerial spraying has also been tried, and a comparison was made between the degree of control achieved by hand slashing and that achieved by herbicide.
