Abstract
Rosellinia necatrix (Hart) BerI. is a well known parasitic fungus on forest and deciduous fruit trees in many parts of the world. It also attacks herbaceous plants and certain root crops and in the Kenya Highlands, above 7,000 ft., has caused the destruction of strawberries and Bosenberries as well as apples and almond trees.
