Abstract
The endeavour towards the production of enough planting materials continued. The number of citrus budling produced has been scaring up and has been overshadowing; the proportionate increase of the other materials planted at the Nursery for one reason or another Lack of enough funds didn't allow for planting of as many coconuts as anticipated. The same blocked planting of enough mango seedlings especially the Apple and Ngowe varieties. Lack of delivery of the seedstones of these types from MSabaha Cotton Research Station also helped to bring about the little planting done on the varieties. Most of the mangoes planted were from Mtwapa farmers Training Centre and for this reason we are very grateful to the principal of this centre. Unfortunately most of the mangoes at the F.T.C. are of the Boribo type which was planted in the higher numbers.
