Abstract
SUMMARY. Attempts were made to produce acute contagious bovine pleuropneumonia (CBPP) in cattle by endobronchial inoculation of 4 Kenya strains of Mycoplasma mycoides. When lesions resulted, they were either 1lecrotic masses or small acute lesions. More extensive acute lesions of CBPP were produced when cattle were exposed to stress in the form of simultaneous injection with caprinized rinderpest virus (KAG).I1loculation of KAG 4 days before, or 4 days after, gave poorer results than when given at the same til1lc as elldobrollchial inoculation.
