Abstract
The Papyrus Swamps of Uganda Can Be Classified Into Two Main Types: - (A) Lake-Edge and Nile-Shore Swamps. (B) Valley Swamps. Although Both Types May Occur In The Same Region, The Lake-Edge Swamps Are More Typical Of Central, Northern And Eastern Uganda, And The Valley Swamps Are More Often Found In Western Uganda, Where They Are Generally Formed By The Damming Of River Valleys By Earth Movements And Volcanic Activity.
