Abstract
The growing of crops without soil has now become an established feature of contemporary agriculture. In fact, not only market gardeners,but also large estates and. plantations have found hydroponics-as the methods of soil less cultivation are Commonly known- to by of great) value for raising seedlings.Its uses in propagation work are well known,and there is no doubt that many advantages are to be gained by germinating seeds of coffee in ·permanent hydroponic beds.All species,including arahiea, liberica and robusta,respond well under trial conditions,
