Abstract
Cashew Industry is relatively new in Nigeria and is currently being considered with a view to developing it for intensive economic cultivation in Oyo State of Nigeria (Togun, 1977). Cultivation of cashew for processing within the country dates back to the early fifties when Western and Eastern Nigeria Regional Development Corporations set up processing plants at Ibadan and Oghe, respectively.
