Abstract
1. Landscape and vegetation monitoring at Nguruman is now on a sound footing and there is no need for me to be called back to oversee it. I recommend that it be continued through the next five years under the supervision of G.O.Oloo. I also recommend that the talent displayed by Mr Julius Ole Saiboku be enhanced through attendance at appropriate courses. 2. After discussion and agreement with the other authors I recommend that two papers be put in hand straight away, while the third in the series, on vegetation change, is already largely complete and can be submitted after minor changes. 3. Requisite materials for tracking the historical development of vegetation at 01 Kiramatian Group Ranch were not available for my visit and I recommend that I work with Mr GO 0100 after my return to U.K.
