Abstract
In the second paragraph of the last published part of this article the author promised to "discuss his experimental and practical experience with the utilization of sisal waste, inclusive of sisal stumps,as manure, on the basis of a sufficient knowledge of the soil to which the waste was applied." This basis was discussed from its pedologic aspect and a general agricultural outline was given of the ex-haustion history of the two soil types ccncerned. The author will ncw continue the outline for the red-scil type in a more detailed way, to afford some insight intodes the course of depletion as regards its most important focd reserves and its organic matter during the prcgress of exhaustion
