Abstract
much has been said and written in recent years of the need to make the maximum use of home grown feeding stuff and and to reduce to a minimum the quantities of concerntrated foods purchased fro outside the farm this is sound advice but fopr certain classes of livestocjk certain forms of animals production and under certain systems of livestock management the purchase of animals foods may be achieved under such circumstances farmers naturally desire to know what are the most economic foods for their particular purpose
