Abstract
The main purpose of this article is to define the symptoms of Crinkle-leaf and Hot and Cold as applied to coffee in Kenya. The two names are often used indiscriminately to describe certain abnormalities of leaf growth. Most frequently both conditions are termed showing early Crinkleleaf symptoms. Note how lesions may coincide in position on the two young leaves. Hot and Cold. This has led to considerable confusion because it is not always clear which condition is being referred to during discussions or communications on the subject of these abnormalities.
