Abstract
the E.A.A.F.R.O tree breeding programme provide vegetatively propagated planting stock to the tree country forest departments for the establishment of olonal seed orchards.plus trees of pinus radiators pinus patula and cupressure lustanica have been selected in existing east african exotic softwood crops mainly in kenya where the bulk of older crops are growing but also in tanzania and Uganda selected parent trees have been compared for a range of morphological characters with five free growing randomly selected neighbours
