Abstract
The generalization that in feeding stuffs high crude fibre values are associated with low crude protein values and vice versa has been examined by Glover and French (1957), who used the data for 1,300 cattle, sheep and goat feeds described by Schneider (1947). Glover and French found that there is a very significant correlation between the percentage of crude fibre and the percentage 'of crude protein contained in the dry matter of these feeds and that the regression of crude fibre 'On crude protein gives- % crude fibre = 37-0.55% crude protein ...
