Abstract
Trypanosoma Musculi produces a self-limiting infection in intact laboratory mice which lasts 3-4 weeks and leaves a strong and probably sterile immunity. Multiplication of the parasite occurs predominantly in the capillaries of the kidneys but small numbers of dividing forms are seen in the peripheral blood during that ascending phase of the parasitaemia.
