Abstract
After destructive analysis of a sample of robusta coffee shoots, interrelationships were examined between the weights of cherry, leaf, primary, stem and shoot. Simi1lar relationships with the basal stem diameter were also examined. The variations and causes of variation between the correlations found are examined and discussed It is suggested that the relationship Ilog W = log A + B log D estimates shoot weight, where W is the weight of the shoot and D is the basal diameter of the stem of the shoot and A and B are constants. On some occasions, the use of lot D instead of log D results in greater precision of weight estimates.
