Abstract
The spraying of ,the cotton crop for the control of early season pests is an established routine in much of Uganda. A review of the work leading up to the present spray schedule of four sprays at fortnightly intervals beginning at five weeks from the emergence of the seedlings has been given by Ingram and Davies (1965).
