Abstract
Bark of K. senegalensis from Northern Nigeria, examined at the Imperial Institute, gave no evidence of alkaloids, glucoses or of any resinous or crystalline neutral bodies, It did, however, contain 10.2 per cent of tanmn and it is indeed used for tanning hide.. in parts of Senegal and Northern Nigeria
