Abstract
Similar levels of both coffee berry disease (C.B.D.) (Colletotrichum Coffeanum) control and coffee yields have been achieved by either contact or systemic (Benzimidazole) fungicides applied by either the overhead or the conventional side boom methods of spray application, although the former method gives relatively poor spray cover. The effectiveness in C.B.D. control and the increase in yield may therefore be attributed to the effective redistribution properties of Orthodifolatan (Captafol), Delan (dithianon). Benlate (benomyl) and Derosal (carbendazim), which were the fungicides used.
