Abstract
The Kenya Agricultural Research Institute (KARl) continues to encourage socio-economists to undertake research activities in the field of crops, soils and water management, livestock and adaptive research. Across this spectrum socio-economists are expected to contribute to strategic planning, priority setting, monitoring and evaluation of ongoing projects, impact assessments and policy environment studies.
