Abstract
Tropical Africa covers an area of some four and a half million square miles. Nearly two thirds of this is infested one or more of the twenty-one species of the .genus. Glossina-dull. Insignificant looking files known as tsetses. Perhaps the word is a corruption to the Swahili inzi.
