Abstract
Although it has been known for some time that it was possible to preserve alive blood forms of the African trypanosomes at the temperature of sublimation of carbon dioxide (approximately - 79° C. J .0). no reports have appeared on the preservation of the metacyclic form. This report indicates that it is possible to preserve live metacyclic forms of the T. brucei sub-group at a similar temperature.
