Abstract
Today millions of acres of the Imperial domain all over the world are in danger of destruction by the uncontrolled forces of erosion. In many parts huge areas arelosing their original fertility; in others, immense tracts of once valuable land have already reverted to desert, while many more are "on the way". If such basic sources of the Empire's wealth are to be maintained it is evident that more effective anti~erosion schemes must be instituted.
