Abstract
Undigested lime-treated wet sewage sludge was surface applied to a yellow odzolic soil under a young Pinus Radiata forest. In a subsequent experiment, air-dried and ground Lime treated sewage sludge was used. Soil samples taken before and at different times after the start of the experiment were analyzed for resin, bicarbonate and hydroxide extractable inorganic: P. Soil phosphorus sorption was determined before and 26 months after hutment.
