Abstract
Kenya pig producers are faced with a number of problems. A major nutritional problem appears to be stunting of young pigs following weaning of the many factors known to affect stunting, the quality of feed offered at the time of weaning appears to be very impol1tant. With careful formulation of weaner diets it is possible to reduce the degree of stunting (Pond and Maner, 1974).
