Abstract
The Research Centre at Msabaha; (KARl Msabaha) was established in 1955 as an investigation centre for cotton, under the management of the Cotton Lint and Seed Marketing Board. It was later taken over by the Division of Scientific Research, Ministry of Agriculture, and the Kenya Agricultural Research Institute (KARl). The Centre has a testing site at Ngao in TanaRiver district. Little infrastructure was initially laid at Msabaha but KARl now has provided electricity, 10,000 litre water tank, Computer and Printer, and repaired roofs of leaking offices.
