Abstract
Apart from systematics, our knowledge of the biology and significance of the internal parasites of game is almost non-existent and presents a fascinating field of study. One wonders, for instance, whether the migration of certain species of game may be stimulated by incipient parasitic gastro-enteritis or by the irritation occasioned by large numbers of Oestrid flies. It is also possible that the restriction of game animals to parks or confined areas may, if these are too small, lead to a build-up of parasitism disease and death.
