Abstract
This Tachinid parasite of adult Antestia, which for many years was of negligible value as a controlling agency as far as one can judge from early records, has in more recent times (probably during the last 20 years) established itself in many large estates and become by far the most important of the parasites wherever it occurs naturally or can be established by human agency. The utilization of Epineura is, in fact, the most satisfactory method of controlling Antestia wherever it is practicable.
