Abstract
The Kenya Farmers Association has informed us that planters may now make arrangements to buy flowers from pyrethrum growers and grind them for their own use,but not for re-sale;The Secretary of the Board has made representations to the K.F.A. that planters be allowed to buy ground pyrethrum powder from growers who have mills of their own. This request will be put before the next meeting of the Pyrethrum Board. The supply of really freshly ground pyrethrum is difficult under present circumstances, for it is ground by the K.F.A. in Nakuru, and either there must be delay in fulfilling orders for the East of the Rift area,or small stocks IIlUl?t be kept in Nairobi, with the risk that they will be in store for longer than is desirable.
