Abstract
The genus C Ollometa is widespread in Africa (AuriviIlius, 1930), but to date C. podocarpi has only been recorded from East Africa, where it is common in the highlands of Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda. One might expect the moth to be distributed in at least some of the neighbouring countries of East Africa, since it is abundant in the western border areas ofUganda and in the south-western parts of Tanzania.
