Abstract
Coffee Leaf Rust (caused by Hemilein vastatrix Berk. and Br.) has recently been studied in detail, so that the development of the disease is well understood and the very great importance of correct spray timing has been clearly established (Bock, 1962). Despite this knowledge a practical control remains a serious problem to coffee growers in areas suitable for the development of the disease.
