Abstract
In The September, 1962, edition of Kenya Coffee, new recommendations were made for the control of Coffee leaf Rust by low volume spraying. The application of sprays in relatively low volumes of water, whether tractor-drawn machines or knapsack sprayers are used, achieves a considerable saving of time (and expense) in carting water and refilling sprayers. Many growers have already changed to low volume sprays for Leaf Rust control and now want to know if Leaf Miner can also be effectively controlled by low volume insecticide applications. An experiment was carried out at the Coffee Research Station, Ruiru, to investigate this point.
