Abstract
The sub-family Buphaginae of the starlings includes two species of 1Jick birds restricted to Africa. These are the red-billed oxpecker (Buphagus erythrorhynchus) and the yellow billed oxpecker (Buphagus Aftricanus). Both species are similar in hab~t5 including nesting and feeding [2].
