Abstract
Owing to the chronic shortage of fencing wire, two shrubs indigenous to high country in Kenya are recommended to the notice of stock farmers at 7,000 ft. altitude and over. The shrubs can be grown by the side of existing fences to liberate wire in from two to four years, or hedges can now be planted to make paddocks in the future.
